Favourites | March 2013

I haven't done a Favourites post in a while, but I now have an iPhone so I can upload pictures much quicker and easier now when I don't have much time! So here are my favourites from March:

Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara: £7.99 from Boots and Superdrug - I was sent this to review by Rimmel, and although skeptical I now love it! It makes my lashes long and separates them nicely, as well as giving them a bit of volume!

Collection 2000 Cream Puff in Cotton Candy: £2.99 from Boots and Superdrug- I bought this on a whim in Superdrug recently and it's a really nice matte pink lip cream. Nice for everyday when you want a pop of colour but nothing's too bright.

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Lighscapade: £21.99 from MAC - I will never regret buying this as its now my favourite highlighter ever. I'm not a huge lover of gold highlights or those that lean pink. This is just a gorgeous silver/champagne shimmer.

Yves Saint Laurent Glossy Stain #30: £23.50 from Debenhams - I've seriously been loving this. Both the colour and the formula are great and I love wearing it for nights out and parties. Definitely going to get more of these one day.

L'Oreal Confetti Top Coat: £4.99 from Boots and Superdrug - This has been worn so much this month over all different nail colours. I especially love it over nude or pastel colours!

MAC Brow Duo in Blonde: £20.00 LE - This was a limited edition kit from MAC but you can still make it up yourself with a duo palette and Soba and Omega eyeshadows. I only use Omega for my brows and I can't see myself using anything else. Soba is lovely but doesn't match, so it's waiting til' I buy a 15 MAC palette and it can go with the rest of my neutrals.

Wednesday Wishlist | #6

Wednesday Wishlist | #6

Stila Countless Colour Pigments: £13.00 each, launching in April -  I absolutely can't wait to get my hands on some of these. I love the look of them so much they've taken up two spaces on my wishlist this week. These can be used as eyeshadows, blushes and Stila say you can even rub some on the ends of your hair for a ombre effect!

MAC Fashion Sets 2013 Lipsticks, launching April/May - The four colours from this years Fashion Sets are Silly, Ablaze, Embrace Me and Heroine. MAc are also releasing matching eyeshadows, lip liners, lip glasses and nail lacquers. I really want Heroine, a matte purple and the matching lip liner.

Stila Stay All Day Eyeliner and Smudgestick in Turquoise: £13.00 each, launching in April - I've seen swatches of this online and it matches the dress I have for my cousins wedding, I'd love to buy the smudgestick for my lower lash line.

Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner Vault: $295, launching in UK soon - This is amazing. 40 Urban Decay 24/7 liners including 13 new shades. It will retail at around £200 so it's way out of my price range, but its absolutely gobsmackingly jawdroppingly amazing and I'm seriously lusting after it.

Barry M Gelly Nail Polishes: £3.99 each - These really pretty gelly nail polishes have been raved about by lots of beauty bloggers and the colours are gorgeous.

Fragrance Direct | Dainty Doll Haul

I jumped on the bandwagon and joined the masses of bloggers purchasing uber-cheap Dainty Doll products from Fragrance Direct! I don't have a lot of money at the moment, but this lot cost me less than £15.00!

I got all four of the powder blushes at £1.99 each, a cream blush at £1.99 and two lipsticks, also at £1.99 each, bargain! Considering these are only being sold at 1/3 off in Boots its an amazing saving.

From l-r - Money Talks, Hippy Shake, My Girl and You Are My Sunshine -
These blushes are great! They are pretty sheer on me as they were designed for really pale skin and although I'm hardly tanned, I'm not beautiful Dita Von Teese pale either. But they make for a nice wash of colour on the cheeks.

Cream Blusher in Billion Dollar Baby -
This is pinker than I was expecting, but it still makes a nice cream contour without being too ashy.

Lipsticks in It's My Party and Storm In A Teacup -
It's my party is the most amazing neon pinky red, the only colour I can compare it to is Stellar from the Rimmel Apocalips. Perfect for summer. Storm In A Teacup is a not too pale shimmery nude, and doesn't make me look like I've got concealer lips, hooray!

All in all I got an amazing bargain from Fragrance Direct. They don't have much left now but they may restock as they have done before. So grab a great deal while you can!
