Make Up Myth: Using Chafing Gel as Primer.

For years, I've heard beauty bloggers and YouTube guru's claim that chafing gel could be used as a primer. They claim that chafing gel (a product used to stop skin rubbing together and causing irritation), contains many of the same products as the majority of facial primers.

I can confirm: this is not a myth!

Lanacane Anti-Chafing Gel - £6.65, is a heck of a lot cheaper than most high-end primers, and even most high street ones! It feels smooth and silky on the skin, and definitely prolongs the wear of make up. It didn't last all day on my super oily skin, but if you have anything from combination to dry skin it would last a long long time. It might seem a little silly, but it really does work!

Hope you enjoyed this post! Have you ever found any beauty 'myths' to be true? xx
